AUGUST 2019

Construction at the STV Preschool has begun.

Our Pre-school, Mary’s House, is beginning a Capital campaign to raise $250,000. Letters have gone out to all parishioners as well as the families of previous graduates of the Pre-school, asking for support of this project. The building is in need of renovation and the plans have been carefully researched by our parish finance committee so that they will be carried out efficiently over the next three years. The letter (link here) will explain the various options for submitting contributions. Thank you for supporting this effort.

St. Thomas of Villanova Parish is running a Capital Campaign to help fund the updates and repairs and could use a little help.

FIRST FRIDAY DEVOTIONS SCHEDULE IS CHANGING
Adoration will begin at 10:00am with Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament and conclude with Benediction at 11:00am. The Sacrament of Reconciliation will be available every First Friday after the12:05pm Mass.

HELPING OTHERS IN OUR COMMUNITY
We are collecting various items to help those in need.

SHARE THE HARVEST
Our parish will be helping families in our area who are in need of food by collecting fresh produce for the food pantry at ElderNet in Bryn Mawr. Click here for the details.

SHOES NEEDED - Collecting through 8/31
The African Catholic Youth of Philadelphia are collecting gently used shoes of all types and sizes – dress shoes, boots, sneakers,sandals, etc. – as part of a fundraiser.

HOTEL SAMPLES This is just a reminder that your hotel samples are always needed for the homeless. Please drop off those miniature soaps, shampoo, conditioner, lotions, and other toiletries to the Parish Center, and we will make sure they are delivered to those in need.
