YOUTH MINISTRY

YOUTH GROUP

The St. Thomas of Villanova Youth Group consists of a middle school (7th & 8th grade) and high school (9th -12th grade) group. The three goals of the youth group are summarized as Empowerment, Participation and Growth. Empowerment is to empower young people to live as disciples of Jesus Christ in our world today. Participation is to draw young people to responsible participation in the life, mission, and work of the Catholic faith community. Lastly growth is to foster the total personal and spiritual growth of each young person.

The youth group holds bi-weekly meetings during the school year focusing on the above three goals. The meetings range from simple discussions amongst the group to service projects off-site. The typical meeting night is on Tuesdays from 7:30-9:00pm.

The youth group is run by a group of dedicated volunteers who enjoy teaching and assisting the church’s youth in their post-confirmation catholic development.

If you are interested in joining the youth group or joining the youth ministry team, please contact Karen Shubert.
